Occupation and skills: Specialist in labour law and Dispute Resolution. CCMA Commissioner: over 10 years, Head of People SA for Webhelp South Africa.
Her Personal Skills: Detail-orientated and accurate, Planning and organizing skills, proactive, innovative, passionate. (Detailed CV available), Negotiation Skills, Efficient in communicating, Resilient and tenacious,
Vision for GWP: ”To be the leader in developing children holistically – academics, sport, culture, arts.”

 

 Mrs S Cockrell

CANDIDATE: Mrs Sunette Cockrell
Child in Grade 4
Any previous experience of Governing Body: Yes, Goodwood Park Pre- Primary,
Occupation and skills: Currently working as Head of Finances at Elsory Community Services. Studied Office Management. Production manager at Media 24, Experience as a PA.
Her Special skills: Attention to detail, hardworking, Passion for children, Administration and Finance
Vision for GWP: “ To always support the importance of an Afrikaans class and to motivate the school’s policies”

  

Mr W Adams

CANDIDATE: Mr Wasfie Adams
Child in Grade 1
Any previous experience of Governing Body: No
Occupation and skills: Retail Manager. Responsibilities across the country as well as Sub Saharan Africa.
His Special Skills: Negotiation and Planning, Relationship Management.
Vision for GWP: “An institution diverse enough to cater for all children”.

CANDIDATE: Mrs A Cassim
Child in Grade 3
Any previous experience of Governing Body: No
Occupation and skills: Attorney & Conveyancer. 7years.
Her special Skills: Reliable, well organized, energetic. Legal Experience.
Vision for GWP: “To promote and embrace cultural diversity, to encourage academic excellence supported by a well-structured extra-mural programme wherein our learners can grow and develop the best in themselves.”

  

Mr B de Klerk

CANDIDATE: Mr Bennie De Klerk
Children in Grades 5 and 7
Any previous experience of Governing Body: Yes, Current Member of SGB.
Occupation and skills: Systems Analyst: Old Mutual Corporate, Managing the CRM information system, programming and maintaining software. Committee served as Chairperson and Treasurer. Current Treasurer of GWP.
His Personal Skills: IT and Finances.
Vision for GWP: “To secure an environment where educator, parent and child can work together in harmony in aid of values of the school and its strive towards excellence in academics, culture and sport.”

  

Mrs M Madden

CANDIDATE: Mrs Monique Madden

Any previous experience of Governing Body: Yes, Current Member of SGB. (Chairperson)
Occupation and skills: Finance and Insurance Manager for 7years. First and foremost a mother and wife. Part of the committee for fundraiser at the Goodwood Park Pre-Primary School. Member of the Methodist church. Trustee of Body Corporate.
Her Special Skills: Finance and Insurance, People Skills, Forming and Strengthening relationships, Family is her passion.
Vision for GWP: “My vision is for everyone to feel equal and for the school, its learners, its parents and educators to stand together to continue the growth of our school in all aspects.”

CANDIDATE: Mr Johannes King
Child in Grade 3
Any previous experience of Governing Body: Yes, Current member of the SGB, Previously: Chairperson at Klein Tygerdal Pre-Primary.
Occupation and skills: Motor industry .Experience in sales management of a workshop and spares for 20 years. Worked at Nissan.
His Special skills: Motor industry. Knowledge of Grounds and Buildings.
Vision for GWP: “To assist the educators in supporting the learners of our school.”

 

Mr R Roberts

CANDIDATE: Mr Ravill Roberts
Children in Grade 4
Any previous experience of Governing Body: Yes – JG Meiring High School.
Occupation and skills: Group manager: SARS Investigations: Honours degree in Business and National Diploma in public administration, Currently MBA Candidate, Management experience:16 years, Senior Level Management: 9 years.
His special skills: Negotiation, Interviews, Investigations, Tax, law, Governance Audit, Finance, Budgets, Imports & Exports.
Vision for GWP: “To become the best primary school in the Northern Suburbs and a school that is recognized for its education, learning & sports”.
